Incompetence PTI Govt Pledged Country To IMF: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government has pledged the country to the global finance watchdog.

The PML-N vice president took to Twitter and shared the video of former premier Nawaz Sharif saying goodbye to IMF.

“There was a time when Nawaz Sharif said goodbye to IMF and Pakistan was moving towards prosperity but suddenly the incompetence PTI govt has bowed before IMF,” she tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Maryam Nawaz strongly had condemned the arrest of the son of co-party leader Amir Muqam and termed it as an act of political revenge.

In her Twitter post, she condemned the arrest of PML-N leader Amir Muqam’s son Ishtiaque Ahmed.

She wrote on her timeline; “Arrest of the son of Ameer Muqam by FIA at the behest of his political rivals is blatant political victimization.”
