India defeats South Africa by 22 runs in 2nd ODI


In 2nd ODI, India has drew five-match ODI series with 1-1 by giving defeat to South Africa with 22 runs at Indore in India.

While batting first, Indian team scored 247 with loss of nine wickets in limited 50 overs. Whereas, Ajinkya Rahane was out after he made 51 runs, while Indian team captain Mahendra Singh hit an unbeatable innings with the help of seven fours and four sixes.

Meanwhile, South African baller Dale Steyn took three wickets while Morne Morkel and Imran Tahir took 2,2 wickets. However, South Africa team were all out at 225 runs while chasing the given target.

Whereas, Faf du plessis 51, JP Duminy 36, Quinton de Kock with 34 runs were top scorers in the South African team.

As, Bhubaneswar Kumar and Akshar Patel took three, three wickets while Harbhajan Singh had two wickets.

Moreover, 3rd ODI match of the five-match ODI series would be played between India and Soth Africa on Sunday at Rajkot.
