India Plans To Delay PIA Flight Operations

Islamabad (October 18, 2018): Instead of Pakistan’s goodwill gesture, India did not want to normalize the bilateral relations and now it has planned to delay Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight operations.

According to the sources, the letter has been written in order to freeze PIA accounts. The Indian government seems disinterested to renew PIA sales office accounts according to new rules.

PIA submitted an application in 2012 in order to open accounts, while  five months, New Dehli told to PIA, we cannot open your account because Interior ministry did not give security clearance. On the other hand, PIA has two sales offices in India. If new accounts were not open, it will affect PIA sales in the country.

PIA had moved towards Indian High Court regarding this issue, sources said.
