MOHALI: Photos of the Pakistani cricketing legends have been scrapped off by Indians from the Mohali Cricket Stadium in Mumbai.
In a rather explicit hate-filled stance against Pakistan, India portrays that it continues to see sports with the same spectrum as of politics.
Punjab Cricket Association Stadium removed 15 photos of Pakistani Cricket greats: Javed Miandad, Imran Khan, ‘King of Swing’ Wasim Akram and Shahid Khan Afridi.
The stadium management disclosed that they scrapped off all photos from Pavilion, corridors and galleries upon orders of the Punjab Cricket Association.
While speaking to media, Ajay Tyagi, who is a prominent face of the Association was quoted saying, “We removed photos of Pakistani cricketers to express solidarity with the martyred soldiers of Pulwama attack”.
