ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal on Thursday called out India for throwing dust in the eyes of the International community by misleading it regarding the ongoing scenario in Indian occupied Kashmir.
In his weekly briefing, Dr Muhammad Faisal said that India should accept the ground realities and hand the atrocity-hit Kashmiris their due rights.
“Kashmiris should be allowed to exercise their right of self-determination, but Indian authorities are busy in violating human rights in the occupied valley”, he asserted.
“India is resorting to black laws in trampling human rights. This week, Indian forces martyred 14 Kashmiris whereas senior Hurriyat leaders are imprisoned under fake cases”.
“Latest report on missing persons in the occupied territory has unveiled the true face of India. Its time that India must halt deceiving International community”, the Foreign Office spokesman added.
