NEW DELHI: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit has said that India sponsored terrorism in Pakistan.
While talking to Indian media, Abdul Basit said that they had inevitable evidences that Indian weapons and ammunition were used for terrorism in Pakistan. He said they were ready to share the evidences with Indian media.
The Pakistani High Commissioner said that India and Pakistan were in contact with each other but for comprehensive peace process, India will have to come forward. He said that the dialogues will be useless if India declare Kashmir as its integral part. He said that India admitted Kashmir as disputed area.
Basit said that some elements in India and Pakistan were against the dialogues. He said both countries will have to take measures for restoration of confidence.
Basit said that Pakistan is a victim of terrorism and the world acknowledged Pakistan’s measures against terrorism. He said Pakistan sought better relations with India and ready to hold dialogues on Kashmir among all other issues. He said that Kashmir issue could not be resolved without participation of Kashmiri leadership.
