LAHORE: Pakistan’s Junior Hockey Team players’ participation in Oman league matches looming as Indian embassy halted their passport.
According to the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) ‘green shirts’ were expelled from Junior Hokey World Cup due to deliberately delay in issuance of visas. The Indian embassy did not return their passports yet.
PHF secretary Shehbaz senior said that junior players will have to visit Oman to play league matches but Indian high commission reluctant to return their passports despite asking many times. He said the Indian high commission did not answer to any mail.
