Indian Forces Resort to Unprovoked Firing at Working Boundary

Sialkot (September 15, 2017): Indian troops again resorted to unprovoked firing at different sectors of Sialkot on Thursday night.   

Local sources said that Indian forces were targeting Pakistani posts and civilians in Sialkot sectors. Earlier, at least two people including a women had been martyred by the Indian shelling in ‘Phuklian’ sector of Sialkot.

Reshma , Sixty-year-old resident of Kahlian village, who was shelled by the Indian forces last night succumbed to her injuries pushing the death toll to two.

After ‘Phuklian’, Indian forces have started shelling at Charwa and Harpal sectors. Pakistan Rangers giving befitting response to Indian shelling.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had earlier said that a man was martyred in an incident of cross-border firing along the Working Boundary on Wednesday,

“Indian troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violations using mortars and automatics and targeted the innocent civilian population along [the] Working Boundary in  Phuklian sector,” the ISPR said. Muhammad Zahoor Illahi, a resident of Dewra village, was killed in the cross-border exchange of fire, ISPR said.
