Entertainment Desk (December 7, 2018): Bollywood singer Mika Singh has been detained in Dubai after a Brazilian girl complained that he sent her obscene messages. Mika was in Dubai to perform at an awards show and was arrested at 3 AM from a bar in Bur Dubai.
A complained was lodged against him by a Brazilian teenager. Mika allegedly sent obscene photographs on Whatsapp. The complaint was lodged at the Muraqqabaat police station and Mika has been taken to Abu Dhabi jail. 
Mika Singh sent the teenager indecent photos along with promising her a job in a Bollywood film. He performed at the awards event and it was followed by a private party. Mika’s friends tried to get him released from jail.
The Indian Consulate has not been contacted yet by Dubai police officials or Mika’s team. “We have not been approached so far and we believe that he is in Abu Dhabi,” Indian Consulate sources told.
