WASHINGTON: United States State Department spokesperson John Kirby has said that Indus Water Treaty is an example of peaceful cooperation between Pakistan and India.
While addressing the daily press briefing, Kirby said that both the countries should resolve the issues about Indus Water Treaty through dialogues. The spokesperson said that they had discussed about the treaty with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. He said India will have to decide itself about inclusion in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Johan Kirby welcomed dialogs among Pakistan, China and Russia over restoration of peace in Afghanistan.
