Government has decided to form broad based power inquiry commission to investigate Quetta carnage in police training center, that claimed 62 lives, and all officials of concern department will be included.
The decision made in apex committee meeting held under the chair of chief minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zahri and attended by commander southern command lieutenant general Amir Riaz, IGFC major general Sher Afgan, chief secretary Balochistan, provincial home minister and other civil and military leadership. Meeting was briefed over the police training college attack’s details and law and order situation of the province by the concern departments.
Meeting was decided to set up high level with broad based power inquiry commission to investigate carnage in police training college while it will also identify the responsible behind the incident in its final report.
