ISLAMABAD: An inspector was martyred while sub-inspector left seriously wounded when an overspeeding trailer truck hit Motoryway Police vehicle at Motorway M-2.
The horrific road accident took place at M-2 between Chakri and Balkasar on Saturday morning.
Deceased police officer was identified as Inspector Muhammad Ehsan while Sub-Inpsector Saboor Elahi received serious wounds in the incident.
Rescue teams have reached the spot immediately and shifted dead body and injured official to the hospital. However, trailer driver was managed to fled from the location.
