KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan met Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and DG Rangers Sindh separately and discussed the situation in Karachi, the ongoing targeted operation and Safora incident with them.
After his arrival at Karachi Airport Nisar went straight to Rangers Headquarters where DG Rangers Sindh Bilal Akbar gave him a briefing about investigations over Safora incident.
The interior minister met CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah at the CM House here where the overall situation in the city, targeted operation and Safora incident were discussed in details. CM Sindh assured Nisar that Karachi Operation is heading in the right direction and high level investigations of Safora incident are underway.
CM Sindh complained to the federal interior minister that the federal government has not provided latest equipment as well as funds for the operation.
