International Cricket Will Come To Pakistan Soon: Sarfaraz

KARACHI: Skipper of Pakistan Cricket Team Sarfaraz Ahmed has expressed hope that international cricket will come to the country again as chief executive of International Cricket Council (ICC) showed satisfaction over security measures taken for Pakistan Super League season four.

Sarfaraz Ahmed said that holding up of last eight matches of PSL season four in a splendid way in the city of lights of country in Karachi, is the success of all adding that those days are not far when international tournaments will be held in the country as people passion and enthusiasm combined with fool-proof security measures witnessed at the PSL guarantee for it.

Talking to media after plantation drive in the PIA Township,  the captain of PSL-4 victorious Quetta Gladiators and Pakistan said that he received indefinite love from people of Pakistan and he is thankful for them.

He said that people of Pakistan loved cricket a lot and their active participation in the tournament multiplied the joy adding that he enjoyed winning of the PSL final as a Quetta Gladiators captain very much in the presence of the home crowd.

Sarfaraz said that “Crowd of Karachi understand good cricket and support all teams actively.”

The captain said that Pakistani cricket team will embrace more success in the future while the successful event of PSL season four paved the way for holding up of international tournament in the country.

He said that the ICC chief executive David Richardson has declared security measures satisfactory while Prime Minister Imran Khan also has announced to hold whole of PSL next season in Pakistan.

Sarfaraz expressed hope that the next PSL will also be successful for the country.
