Investigators say Lahore bomber seems to be non-local

LAHORE: Security agencies have prepared the initial report of Lahore suicide attack according to which some eight to 10 kilograms explosives was used for the attack.

The report said that the head of the suspected suicide bomber was found some 40 feet far from the attack site.

It added that the suicide bomber walked up to the van and detonated himself at 7:45 after reaching near the van carrying the census staff.

The investigators said the suspected bombers seemed to be non-local. The head and other body parts of the bomber were sent to forensic lab for his identification.
