ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said that investment in the tourism sector has a maximum profit adding that tourism will add foreign exchange and people will get employment as well.
Addressing the tourism summit in Islamabad Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he has toured around the world as a tourist but he did not find sea tourism like Pakistan hardly anywhere while he also did not see beautiful tourist destination like Northern areas anywhere in the world.
“No other sector in Pakistan offers returns on investment as much as tourism,” Khan told the audience.
Prime Minister said that Pakistan has more than 100 Nathia Gali but no one imagined it adding that Baluchistan Sea belt could provide better tourism in the country.
Regarding government measures for tourism, the premier said that the government brought ease in visa policy.
Continuing highlighting the benefits of tourism, Imran Khan said that it will bring foreign exchange reserve and will provide employment to masses as well.
PM said that elite class of the country used to leave abroad in summer season adding that Pakistanis should visit their own tourist destinations.
He said that tourism in Northern areas was almost ended during terrorism but now people will not get spaces in hotels and most of the tourists hailed from America and Europe.
