Iran FM Responds On Trump’s Threat Statement

TEHRAN: Iran’s foreign minister tweeted Sunday the U.S. committed “committed grave breaches” of international law by killing a top Iranian general in Iraq and that President Trump’s threats to attack the country’s cultural sites “is a WAR CRIME.”

Mohammad Javad Zarif used Twitter to directly respond to Trump, who spent much of Sunday night tweeting threats to Iran, including that the U.S. had “targeted 52 Iranian sites.”

The administration is sending more U.S. troops to the region, with roughly 3,500 troops in Fort Bragg, N.C. preparing to go to Kuwait.
