Iran wants cultural, economic relations with Pakistan: Rafiei

QUETTA (May 4, 2017): Iranian Consulate General General Mohammed Rafiei has said that Iran wants to extend better cultural and economic relations with Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference in Quetta, he said economic ties occupy importance in progress and prosperity of nation and country. He described economic and trade ties increase between Pakistan and Iran as good sign.

He said that trade between both countries will reach to extent of five billion dollars. Iranian President had five meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to extend better economic relations.

He said that Baluchistan is a trade hub in CPEC and Iran desires to maintain peaceful and pleasant relations on both sides of border of Baluchistan. He said that the economic target will be achieved through Railway Lines and Highways from Quetta to Iran.

Iranian Consul general Mohammed Rafiei said that Iran will not make any mistake to achieve its economic targets, adding that some unpleasant incidents are a hurdle in the route of that economic target, while it is imperative for both countries to strengthen brethren relations.
