WASHINGTON: DG ISPR Asim Bajwa has said that larger areas have been cleared in Operation Zarb-e-Azb, adding that Pakistan has conflicts with India over Kashmir dispute, which must be resolved, while ISIS will not be tolerated in Pakistan.
Talking to media in Washington, DG ISPR, Asim Bajwa said that ISIS is a threat to the whole world and everyone will have to deal with ISIS jointly, while ISIS will not be tolerated in Pakistan. Terrorists facilitators and supporters were also being detained. He said that ISIS cannot defeat world powers, terrorists will find no place to hide.
DG ISPR said that Pakistan-US relations are advancing towards positive direction. He said that he cannot give time frame, as to when will Operation Zarb-e-Azb will be over, hence 90 percent Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been completed. DG ISPR said that no other country can affect Pakistan US relations, adding that US sees relations with Pakistan individually.
