The two-day 15th Ministerial Conference of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) nations has begun in Islamabad.
The conference is being organized by the Economic Affairs Division in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank.
The conference is being attended by 200 delegates from 10 member nations. Georgia is attending the conference as observer.
CAREC members include Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, the People’s Republic of China, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The Ministerial Conference will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is also present.
The conference is organized with the cooperation of Economic Affairs Division and Asian Development Bank.
