ISLAMABAD: Indian Deputy High Commissioner was called to Foreign Office here to register protest over unprovoked firing by Indian forces along the Line of Control on March 17 and 18.
According to Foreign Office DG South Asia Desk Dr Faisal also handed over a protest letter to Indian Deputy High Commissioner.
The letter says that unprovoked firing by Indian forces on March 17 martyred a woman while two children were injured from the unprovoked firing of Indian army in Nakial sector the next day.
The letter asked Indian to abide by ceasefire agreement. The violation of the agreement by Indian all along the is resulting in power imbalance in the region, the letter added.
