Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announce the inauguration of new international airport on August 14 next year and also directed to link it with metro bus.
PM Nawaz Sharif made the decision as chairing a high level meeting over aviation related affairs while he was briefed over the construction of Bannu, Mansehra and new Islamabad along with other projects regarding airports.
Meeting was told that the 82 per cent construction work of New Islamabad airport has been completed as it would be the great symbol of Spanish and Mughal era design and airport provided water from Ramna and Kasan dams.
On the occasion PM directed the concern authorities to maintain all requirements of standards while he also approved the design of the extension in Allama Iqbal International Airport.
