Most of the users of the iPhones have found Apple’s new ios 10 operating system has left them struggling to pick up signals.
Now there are new complaints from those unlucky enough to have rushed to upgrade to the new software – it appears to also be draining their batteries quicker.
Twitter and online forums have filled with complains about the revamped operating system draining batteries and causing them to heat up.
Others have also claimed they have been left unable to get a mobile phone signal on their device after turning the device onto flight mode. When they turned the feature off they found they were unable to reconnect to their network.
Apple has now released a fix for the issue and T-Mobile has since said its customers can now update.
Among those complaining about the reduced battery life was Nick Confessore, political reporter for a US prominent newspaper.
He said: ‘I’ve now updated to iOS10 and updated all my apps. Is there a reasonable technical explanation for why my iPhone battery life is down 50 per cent?’
