In a joint action, Police and intelligence agency have recovered arms packed in 29 cartons from Akbar Bugti express and arrested a man as well.
Addressing a presser Superintendent of Police (SP) Jacobabad Malik Muhammad Rafique said that on a tip police and intelligence agency carried out the action. The SP said the arrested person has been shifted to unknown location for interrogation.
According to Railway Police recovered arms included 280 repeaters, 284 pistols, a large number of rifles and automatic arms as well. Officials have claimed that arms were transported to Dera Murad Jamali from Peshawar.
