Jahanain (May 28, 2017): At least six people including a woman have been killed in truck and passenger bus accident, while 18 were injured, whereas the bus driver escaped after the accident.
According to details, an over speeding passenger bus lost control and collided with truck coming from front at Bahawalpur Road in Jahanian of Khanewal.
Rescue teams shifted the injured to Tehseel Headquarter, where two injured could not succumb to their injuries, while the driver escaped from accident scene.
According to Rescue sources, the bus was heading to Sadiqabad from Lahore. Police said that the accident occurred due to driver’s negligence.
