Jam Khan Shoro Bail Before Arrest Extended Till Dec 22

Karachi (November 08, 2018): The Sindh High Court (DHC) has extended the bail before the arrest of Pakistan Peoples Party leader Jam Khan Shoro till December 22.

According to details, the hearing on the request of bail before arrest by the Jam Khan Shoro over the cases of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against him resumed in Sindh High Court on Thursday.

During the hearing, NAB officials have submitted their reply on cases filed against Shoro, however, the court rejected the reply terming it incomplete and ordered for submission of complete reply in this connection.

Talking to media after the hearing, Shoro said that he could not tell any details of the NAB reply as after reading the reply will comment over it.

“I was not called by NAB yet as for when the NAB will summon I will appear before it,” Shoro said.On October 18, the National Accountability Bureau issued arrest warrants for former Sindh minister Jam Khan Shoro in illegal allotment case.

However, the Sindh High Court granted protective bail to former Local bodies minister Jam Khan Shoro.

As a two-judge bench of the SHC took up the ex-minister’s plea, his counsel said that the anti-graft body wants to take his client into custody. “We have issued a call-up notice in June,” he said.

The anti-graft body had initiated a probe against Sindh Local Government Minister in October 2017 for allegedly occupying government land.
