Islamabad (December 04, 2017): Veteran politician and former president Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi met PML-N chief and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at Punjab House in Islamabad.
This is first ever meeting of Hashmi after he parted ways with PML-N in 2012 to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Sources said that during the meeting Nawaz Sharif invited Hashmi to rejoin PML-N. Both the leaders discussed overall political situation of the country and issues of mutual interests.
During the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Saad Rafique and Ahsan Iqbal were also present. Sources said that senior PML-N leadership including Maryam Nawaz supported rejoining of Hashmi in PML-N.
They said that Hashmi is likely to announce his rejoining PML-N at any time soon.
It is to be mentioned here that Nawaz Sharif is holding meeting with party leaders and other at Punjab House after appearing before the accountability court in the morning.
Nawaz is expected to meet Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar.
Nawaz is also scheduled to preside over the meeting of PML-N central executive committee today at Punjab House.
