Multan (December 02, 2017): Veteran politician and former President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PIT) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has decided to rejoin Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The veteran political is scheduled to meet PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umrah on December 4, 2017 during which he will announce his joining of PML-N.

Nawaz Sharif will visit Multan and southern Punjab on December 15, 2017. During the visit, Hashmi will formally announce his rejoining of PML-N.Sources said that Javed Hashmi was aspiring for NA-150 ticket for next general election.
It is to be mentioned here that Hashmi left PML-N and joined PTI in 2012 after developing differences with party leadership.
However, during the height of 2014 sit-in of PTI Hashmi parted ways by leveling serious allegation against PTI Chief Imran Khan.
Hashmi had alleged that Imran had joined hands with establishment and planning a judicial coup to dislodge Nawaz Sharif government.
He tendered his resignation from National Assembly. Later he fought by-election as independent candidate but lost to Amir Dogar who was being backed by PTI and other parties. Since then, Hashmi was inactive in politics.
