JC consitutional status: LHC seeks federation’s reply till April 30

The Lahore High Court (LHC) sought reply of the federation till April 30 after hearing plea submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for being party in the case for consitutional values of the Judicial Commission (JC).

PTI lawyer Fayyaz Ahmed Mahar stated that establishment of the JC was made within boundaries of the Constitution to audit whole election. He said that election tribunals’ authorities were restricted as each citizen could be submit plea in the tribunals.

The complainant requested the court to become party in the case for seeking constitutional status of the commission.

Justice Ayesha A. Malik ordered federal government to submit reply till April 30, 2015 citing request of PTI and adjourned the court.
