LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has warned India against any adventurism, saying that today’s Pakistan is not that of 1965’s and 1971’s.
Addressing JI Women Wing’s Youth Festival at Aiwan-e-Iqba Lahore, the JI chief said that if India attempted to resort to adventurism against Pakistan, the consequences would be disastrous for it.
He urged youths to support JI for implementation of Islamic Shariah in the country. He decried the judicial system’s failure in delivery of quick and inexpensive justice in the country.
Haq said that JI wanted the holy book of Quran at the hand of Chief Justice of Pakistan instead of English laws’ book.
He maintained that the JI would hold demonstration against the corrupt system of the country in Faisalabad on September 30, 2016.
