JI complains vote rigging via letter to ECP

KARACHI: Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman admitted that no illegal stamping on on ballot papers was being carried out as past during ongoing NA-246 by-election in Karachi but Rangers’ or CCTV cameras have no solution to take action over fake identity cards.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that no action was taken over reservations showed by the political party as possibilities were still present for vote rigging. However, he expressed satisfaction over the security measures made for the election.

Hafiz Naeem Rehman that our voters are coming out of their homes to cast their votes. JI Ameer Karachi claimed that vote turn out was quite good at the time while voters were majorly rushing towards JI and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) election camps.
