JI installs protesting camp outside Punjab Assembly for promotion of Urdu

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami has established a protesting camp outside Punjab Assembly for the promotion of Urdu, while Liaquat Baluch has demanded to implement Urdu language in all courts and offices on government level.

The acting JI Ameer Liaquat Baluch and other leaders participated in the protesting camp installed outside Punjab Assembly. Addressing the participating protesters, Liaquat Baluch said that implementation of foreign language in government offices is giving the impression that we are still living in the slavery era, adding that we will not let our next generation to be slave of foreign language. He said that it is the requirement of Constitution of Pakistan that Urdu language be read, spoken and written in the country.
