KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that they would hold sit-in against K-Electric outside Governor House in Karachi today.
He threatened to turn the peaceful sit-in into siege if the government tried to disrupt them. The provincial government and local administration will be responsible for the consequences, if they were stopped or disrupted, said Hafiz Naeem.
While addressing a press conference at the reception camp outside the Governor House, Naeem said that K-Electric will have to answer the over billing, load shedding and copper stealing.
The JI leader urged the masses to participate in JI’s sit-in so as to get rid of load shedding and over billing.
