Islamabad (July 10, 2017): The Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report, which was submitted before SC alleging Sharif family for having unknown means of income sources, alleged that the letter of Qatari Prince Hammad Bin Jassam, who submitted it before apex court during Panamagate hearing, was not more than a fairy tale and it became meaningless after the letters from other foreign states.
The JIT stated in its concluding report that the transfer of Barrier certificates from Qatari Prince to Sharif family is concocted and lied story and all documents and financial transactions regarding Qatari business also self-made stories.
It said four letter had been written to Qatari prince by JIT and offered to record statements either in Pakistan or Qatar or in Pakistan’s embassy in Doha.
Qatari prince was apprised regarding legal situation in its fourth summon, however Qatari prince refused to provide any kind of documents and demand guarantee not to conduct any legal action against him.
JIT also claimed that after the letters from governments of gulf states, the Qatari letter became meaningless.
