DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unknown gunmen on Tuesday opened fire at a journalist in Dera Ghazi Khan while he was performing his duty.
Local reporter Amanullah was shot dead by unidentified men in precincts of Thana University.
According to police, Amanullah was present near Lunda Sharif when he received gunshots from unknown men.
The dead body has been sent to a hospital and an investigation has commenced into the affair, police said.
