JRL Calls for Shutdown in Occupied Kashmir on Monday

Srinagar (November 24, 2017): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has called for complete shutdown on Monday against the Indian brutalities in Southern districts of the valley and ill-treatment meted out to the detained Kashmiris languishing in different jails.

In a statement in Srinagar, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik said the fascist Indian government is trying to paint the brutal pacification of Kashmir as peace and return of normalcy.

They said if Indian rulers presume that the oppression unleashed by their army has crushed resistance in Kashmir, they should find some courage to lift ban on political activities of the resistance leadership.
