ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) will block more national highways on Friday (today) as part of the party’s plan B, which came into effect on Thursday.
The JUI-F activists are set to block the Karachi-Quetta and Quetta-Dera Ghazi Khan highways today. The party will switch to ‘plan C’ after a complete lockdown in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to plan B, the JUI-F workers will block highways in Zoab and Dera Murad Jamali on Saturday (Nov 16), Quetta-Taftan and Qila Abdullah highways on Sunday (Nov 17) while Quetta-Gawadar and Quetta-Karachi linking roads will be blocked on Monday (Nov 18).
People are facing difficulties in travelling due to the blockade of main highways. Meanwhile, the JUI-F leadership has decided to block the roads from 9pm-5pm.
