JUI-F to eliminate corruption after coming into power: Fazl

NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman on Sunday said that blood of Muslims was being shed across the world, saying that world power wanted victories by slaughtering humanity.

Addressing the concluding session of the party’s three-day centenary celebration, Fazl said he wished to see Pakistan function and prosper as a truly free state.

He said that they were desirous to solve problems with India through dialogue. “If JUI-F was voted to power, it eradicate corruption from the country,” he added.

He said that a politicians used to dub other as thief, adding that this is not the respectable way of politics to term each other as thieve.

He said that the JUI-F international conference would prove a milestone for future, saying that the congregation has instill a new vigor and hope among Muslims across the world.

He said that Islam teaches peace and Islam is the only ideology that can bring peace in the whole world.

The JUI-F chief said that decisions should not be imposed on the people of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, like the Frontier Crimes Regulations was thrust upon them. “If decisions are forced upon the tribal people from Islamabad then what will be the difference between us and the colonial power,” he questioned.

“Whatever is planned should happen with the consent of the people of FATA.”

The JUI-F chief stressed negotiations should be held to resolve problems and that the party is ready to work with countries that have the resources Pakistan does not.

“We want to see Pakistan [prosper] as a free country,” he said. “This is the reason why we welcome the friendship with China for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.”

“It is slavery that we deny,” he maintained. “We want to bring Pakistan out of [the menace of] slavery.”
