ISLAMABAD: Justice Gulzar Ahmed on Monday took oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan at the Supreme Court as Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will embark for a seven-day official visit to Russia.
In the oath-taking ceremony, Justice Azmat Saeed administered the oath to Justice Gulzar with other senior judges, civil and military leadership in attendance.
Justice Khosa will leave for Russia on an official visit today and Justice Gulzar will work as acting CJP in former’s absence.
