Web Desk(October 03, 2018): Justice Ranjan Gogoi has been sworn in as the 46th Chief Justice of India. He is the first person from the North-Eastern States to hold the post.
Justice Gogoi replaces Justice Dipak Misra, who retired from the post yesterday. He will hold office till November 17, 2019.
