KARACHI: K-electric didn’t respect statement given by Governor Sindh Imran Ismail ensuring that power outages will be stopped from Sunday and loadshedding is continued in the city on Sunday as well.
The K-electric has been given furnace oil and supply of gas is also restored to it despite that power outages are common in the city.
Different areas of the city faced power outages last night which included Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Landhi, Korangi, Lyari, Shereen Jinnah Colony, Sadar, Burns Road.
Loadshedding is still continued in Mahmoodabad, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Mauripur Village, PECHS and other ares of city.
Religeous-Political party protest against the K-electric is also continued in the city while on the other hand the government had ensured that loadshedding will be stopped from today.
However, the K-electric did’nt take the government assurance seriously and conducted loadshedding in the city.
People are feeling misery due to the power outages of the K-electric adding that the citizens are also facing dearth of water due to the loadshedding.
