LAHORE: Former federal minister Kamran Michael will be presented before the accountability court by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday.
NAB officials will seek transit remand of the former Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping belonging to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
Tight security arrangements were made in all routes around the court.
Earlier on Friday, Kamran Michael was arrested by the anti-corruption watchdog officials after approval of NAB chairman Justice (Retd.) Javed Iqbal. NAB spokesperson said the PML-N leader was accused of allotting plots to blue-eyed persons, as well as another corruption case unearthed in Karachi.
According to details, NAB Rawalpindi initiated probe into alleged corruption by the former federal minister but he was failed to satisfy the investigators.
