According to An international Mercer company’s annual report regarding cheap and expensive cities around the globe, Karachi has been declared the 8th most cheap city of the world while Hong Kong stood the top most expensive city of the world.
As many as 209 cities are included in the annual report. The survey carried out keeping in mind cities residential cost, transport fares, food, clothing, entertainment cost and 200 other things.
Coming back to cities, Indian city of Kolkata is on 16th position. Current year the cheapest city in the world found to be Namibia city of Windhoek, according to the survey Cape Town of South Africa, stood at second, Bishkek capital of Kyrgyzstan, on third, Blantyre, city of Malawi on appeared on fourth, Johannesburg another city from South Africa came on fifth, Minsk, capital of Belarus, is on sixth position, Tunis, capital of Tunisia, stood at seventh position while Karachi got 8th position.
While in the list of expensive cities around the world London is on 17th position, Dubai stood at 21th and Pakistan, capital is on180th position.
