KARACHI: Campaigns time for political activities concluded for by-elections in PS-127, the Sindh assembly seat.
Polling will be held in the constituency on September 8. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan’s bylaws, political parties could not hold public meeting, corner meeting or rally afterward in the constituency.
The seat was declared vacant after the resignation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement dissident Member Provincials Assembly (MPA) Ashfaq Mangi’s resignation.
67 polling stations were declared very sensitive, 49 sensitive. While remaining 18 polling stations were declared normal. Polling material will be dispatched today. Police and Rangers personnel were deployed at all the polling stations in the constituency.
