KARACHI: Director General Rangers Bilal Akbar has issued orders to arrest the miscreants forcing shut-down of shops. Meanwhile, Sindh Rangers has started disclosing identities of the persons during the raid at Nine-Zero and adjacent areas.
He further asked the people to continue carrying with their business as usual and protection would be provided protection.
Meanwhile, in a statement Rangers spokesman has started disclosing names of the suspects arrested during the raid. The spokesman said that accused in Wali Babar Khan murder Faisal Mota, who was awarded death sentence by the court, has been taken in custody while Farhan Shabbir, Amir, Nadir and Obaid are in Rangers’ custody. Accused Nadir has served 13-year sentence and is wanted in serious crimes. Heavy arms cache was recovered from the possession of the arrested accuseds, the spokesman added.
Rangers sources said that Minhaj Qazi, the right-hand man of Saulat Mirza, was also arrested during the raid. While arrested accused Amir, the sectyor incharge of Ranchore Lines, is accused of planning firing on Sindh Mohabbat rally.
