Karachi (November 24, 2017): A huge fire that broke out in a plastic factory in North Nazimabad area on Thursday night was brought under control after hectic efforts. No one was hurt in the fire.
Initially, two fire engines were sent to extinguish the blaze, but the fire rapidly spread apparently owing to presence of plastic and chemicals in the factory.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, the firefighters called in more fire tenders to tackle with the fire. Officials of Fire Brigade sent three more fire tenders to douse the inferno. After hectic efforts the fire was extinguished. In the meantime, fire turned the whole goods into ashes in the godown.
