Karachi: Fire At Shershah Cloth Godown Doused After Six Hours

KARACHI: The fire engulfed the cloth godown in the Shershah neighborhood of Karachi has been doused after a continuous struggle of six hours.

The fire erupted at the godown of old clothes in the morning while the fire spread in no time around the whole building.

The fire brigade officials declaring the fire as third-degree fire called fire tenders around the city and fire extinguished after hard work of six hours.

Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy, eight fire tenders of fire brigades, and two water bousers had taken part in the fire extinguishing operation.

Talking to media Chairman of District West said that wanter tankers of Water Board didn’t reach the spot despite calling them again and again while the factory also alleged the fire brigade officials reached the factory late resulted into loss of million rupees as a large number of clothes and other goods turned to dust due to fire.
