KARACHI: Huge fire erupted in a garment factory in Karachi, Landhi-2, has engulfed the entire factory as fire brigade workers were trying to dose it but despite nine hours have passed, the fire is not yet controlled.
According to police and fire brigade officials fire erupted in washing department that engulfed the entire factory and reduced garments of million of rupees in ashes but no loss of life reported so far.
Rescue officials terming the fire third degree called the all available fire brigade vehicles .
Twelve fire brigade vehicles and two water bowser in dose off fire. The reason behind the fire eruption yet not ascertained.
Chief secretary Sindh Rizwan Memon taking the notice of the fire directed the secretary local bodies to use all resources to extinguish fire.
Fire brigade officials told media that all workers trapped inside the factory have been pulled out and no one was left in the factory.
