KARACHI: A fire that erupted on Monday night at a cotton godown situated in Shershah on Monday night which quickly engulfed the entire building has successfully been doused.
It was doused after three hours with the help of five fire tenders, according to the fire department.
The cause of the fire couldn’t be determined as yet. However, no casualties have been reported.
In another incident of fire in the metropolis, on March 18, a fire erupted at FTC building situated at Shahra-e-Faisal and had engulfed fifth and sixth floor of the building.
The situation was brought under firm control at the FTC Building after five water trucks of fire brigade team and two snorkels battled hard for three long hours to put out the fire.
