Karachi (August 22, 2018): A huge fire broke out at a cloth factory located in New Karachi Industrial Area on Wednesday night.
Fire personnel rushed to the scene of a fire that broke out at a yarn factory in Karachi’s Industrial Area. Fire trucks and snorkels were called from across the city to the factory to extinguish the blaze which was raging on.
According to officials, an emergency has been declared at Sakhi Hasan and Nipa hydrants to allow the uninterrupted supply of water to fire tenders. Sources said that the fire has engulfed four more nearby factories.
As many as 15 fire engines including a snorkel are attempting to extinguish the fire. There is no immediate report of any casualty.
